How to advertise your blog.
If you have an LDS-themed blog, there are some blog lists (also known as blog "aggregators") where you would want to list your blog if you want to garner more visitors than just via word-of-mouth:
LDS blog lists (alphabetically):
General blog lists:
The latter group is good in that they can show you which other blogs and web sites link to you.
At each web site look for a "sign up" or "submit your blog" or similar link.

If you are an LDS Woman, and your blog is insightful, witty, uplifting, or otherwise noteworthy, you could also submit it to the Segullah Blog Sampler.
The Sampler carries excerpts of recent posts, with links back to their blog-of-origin.

Lol I don't think I qualify for these bloglists, they say I have to be a member of the LDS church.

You can still list with Technorati and Truth Laid Bear.
And as long as your investigating the LDS church, and have a positive outlook toward it, I think some of the LDS blog lists will still list you. Check their criteria.
