(One drop at a time.) My journal entries about offering copies of the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other LDS church books, mainly to immigrants in their native language, mainly in Indianapolis, Indiana. With 106 translations, the Book of Mormon (along with the Bible) is a good "Rosetta Stone" for learning English or other languages, in addition to being a missionary tool.

Moment #593. French x2 at gas station. Sat, Jun 3, 2006.
06/03/2006. Late at night. Two men who were already friends met each other at a gas station while I was walking in. I couldn't tell what they were speaking, but I asked, and it was French. I ended up giving them 2 copies of a French New Testament and a French Book of Mormon. (It's late, more later.)
Can you get out do more? I need the lift in the mornings. :)
ReplyDeleteThere are still a couple hundred stories on an old hard drive I could transfer to the blog.
ReplyDeleteThat hard drive is sort-of crashed. I can get the data, but it's a bit of work.
I just realized I haven't posted any stories from my trip to San Antonio in May of 2005, and there are several more stories from my trip to Colorado in Marh 2005 that aren't online.
